Hitchin Damp & Timber

Established since 1989

Hitchin Damp & Timber was established by Chris Bradburn in 1989, to provide the sort of service that was appropriate to the nineties and onwards. People's expectations of service and the range of skills that a specialist company provides has changed over time, and at Hitchin Damp & Timber, we provide our clients with as much or as little as they need. We can do the whole job, including redecorating and feeding the cat, or just the specialist bit.

Friendly Service Guaranteed

You can telephone us at times that other companies would not be able to speak to you. And we are all nice people!

Twice, in the early nineties, we won commendations by Hertfordshire Business Awards, for newly established businesses. We are constantly fine tuning our range of services to keep abreast of changes in our clients' needs and expectations.

Specialist Damp and Timber company

If you are considering buying a property, you will probably have a building society survey, or valuation carried out. You may also decide to have a Homebuyers report or even a full survey. When you receive your report, there may be a recommendation for a Specialist Damp and Timber company to inspect the property, and this is where Hitchin Damp & Timber come in. You may of course, already be living in the house and find something that concerns you, either way use our online enquiry and we will make an appointment to visit.

Not in our area? Don't worry, we are still here to help, then click here for AAWU members.

About Us   Did You Know?   Contact Us Contact Us
Established since 1989, we are a specialist Damp and Timber company, setup to help home buyers and owners in identifying and rectifying potential damp or timber problems in their property.   Condensation occurs when warm moist air comes into contact with a cooler surface. If the surface temperature is at or below the point where moisture vapour held in the air condenses, the Dew Point, then water droplets form on the surface.   Hitchin Damp & Timber
